- 2. Educational Curriculum, Research, and Virtual Conferences: Sponsored by Committees on Educational Policy, Research, and Sustainability, respectively.
- 3. Faculty Writing Support Fund: Assist faculty who need financial support in their writing, publication, and scholarly communication activities. Sponsored by Committee on Research.
- 4. Micromobility Grants: The Micromobility Grants are awarded by the Sustainability Committee to support faculty in commuting to work via bicycle.
- 5. Milk Stork Initiative: The Milk Stork Initiative is funded by Committee on Faculty Welfare.
- 6. Community Building Fund: The Community Building Fund is funded by Committee on Faculty Welfare.

Overview
Amount: Up to $350
Total Amount in Fund: $8,200
Key Dates: Applications will be accepted and awarded on a rolling basis.
Description: The Micromobility Grants are intended to support faculty in commuting to work via bicycle. They can be used for bicycle maintenance, purchasing commuting supplies, and other expenses related to bike commuting.
Eligible expenses:
- Bicycle commuting supplies and equipment
- Bicycle maintenance
- Other purchases that enable the faculty member to commute by bicycle
Guidelines:
- UCSF Faculty in any series (Clinical X, In Residence, Ladder Rank, Adjunct, and Health Sciences Clinical) and at all ranks (Assistant, Associate, Full Professor), at any percentage of effort, are eligible to apply.
- Applicants should upload a short budget justification describing the items purchased and explaining how they will support bicycle commuting.
- Once your application is approved, you will be asked to provide proof of payment and documentation that your bicycle is registered with UCSF
