| School of Pharmacy | • Master Preceptor Program is a development program for volunteer clinical faculty to precept UCSF students at key experiential education sites. Program members will be key experiential education (EE) partners who serve as mentors for other preceptors at the core EE institution. Participants will also provide stakeholder feedback and guidance to the EE team regarding EE curriculum, training program challenges, and opportunities for improvement. • Mental Health First Aid is an educational program sponsored by the National Council for Behavioral Health which teaches the skills and techniques necessary to identify and assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis. It has been implemented at pharmacy schools and in the broader population. It has been shown to reduce stigma towards individuals with mental illness and increase confidence and likelihood to help a person in distress. |
